The owner Ben is so nice. He went out of his way to make everything amazing. He gave us t-shirts, coffee mugs and key chains. He also went to the store and purchased more coffee for us. Me and my daughter stayed in the cabin and it was really nice. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Extremely Kind and they also have A Love And Concern about the Beattyville Kentucky Community. God Surely has placed Kind Folks in this Little Community. We recommend this campground.

Great host and lots of camp sites from full hookup to deep in the woods near small waterfalls that may require 4wheel drive. Great prices.

Third time staying and plan to keep coming back. Great campground with plenty of room to spread out. Extremely close to PMRP climbing area and not far from other climbing areas (or hiking if you’re not into climbing).

We just stopped in for an overnight here. Plenty of space to stretch out. Played fetch with Max the guard dog. Restroom facility was clean.

If you are looking for a quiet rustic area to camp that does not have a lot of people camping, this is it. The place is owned by a friendly guy named Ben. If you have questions about anything he's very helpful. The campgrounds are clean and well managed. I happened on this place by accident trying to find a quiet spot and it did not dissappoint.

Boone Valley Campground offers a pristine piece of a natural Kentucky woodlands to call home on your next camping trip. I spent a week here with a group of friends and when it was time to leave, we were already planning our next trip back to Boone Valley. There is something here for every type of camper. There are secluded campsites deep into the woods for primitive camping. There’s also RV camping with water and electric close to the bathhouses. There’s common spaces for friends and family to gather and there’s even a food truck that the owner will open on busy weekends! The camp is located close to grocery (less than 20 minutes), so you’re in-luck if you forget anything. Plus, the campground was 15 minutes away from all our activities in the Red River Gorge. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you Ben for being such a great host!

We stayed here for 5 wonderful days and nights. Boone Valley is gorgeous, quiet, spacious, and feels very private. Ben is a friendly and consummate host. This campground has tons of land to roam and explore and hot water in the shower house. Friendly to climbers, families, and all types of campers. There’s even playgrounds for kids or adults who enjoy swinging!

Boone Valley was a great campground for our group. We stayed 5 nights in the ‘primitive camping’ down the hill by the creek and it was amazing. We had fun hiking and exploring the property. Ben was a wonderful host. Plenty of firewood for sale. Clean bathrooms and hot showers. Will definitely be back next time we visit the Red!

I was in town for an event and just wanted a quiet place to be at peace with. I booked a week when no one else had so I had the whole place to myself. The shower house is very clean, has electric, and my favorite part was the hot water showers! Not the short hot water showers but an actual 30 - 40 minute hot shower! The camp manager "Kentucky Pete" was friendly, drew me a map for some waterfalls, and also made some 'hobo hot chocolate" which was delicious! I was solo camping and as a female solo camper, I felt completely safe spending four nights a lone here. The campground is secluded and is well lit up with street lights throughout the place. Just be careful of ticks!
